Grafren and Coxa Carry Announce Strategic Collaboration to Commercialize Graphene-Based
Heatable Fabrics

Grafren AB and Coxa Carry AB have after several years of cooperation entered into an exclusive
collaboration to bring innovative electrically heatable textile technologies to market. The partnership
combines Grafren’s advanced graphene-based material science with Coxa Carry’s subsidiaries Coxa
Carry International AB’s expertise in high-end sports and outdoor product development and Artik-
Tech ABs advanced application knowledge for extreme arctic conditions within primarily defense and
industry sectors.
Grafren has successfully invented and developed electrically heatable fabrics using proprietary
graphene nanomaterials and unique integration methods for fiber-based materials. Under the
agreement, Grafren will serve as the exclusive supplier of these advanced fabrics to Coxa Carry’s
subsidiaries.
Coxa Carry will leverage this exclusive access to develop and commercialize a new generation of
products incorporating heatable fabric technology. The collaboration has already unlocked enhanced
functionality and significantly elevated product capabilities across multiple segments. The release of
the Coxa Cobra, a heated tube cover as part of an advanced hydration system, in January of this year
has been a BTC success beyond forecasts and several inroads have already been made in the defense
industry.
The collaboration is already achieving success by having been awarded funding from Vinnova and the
Swedish Armed Forces for a project addressing defense-related needs for the transparent battlefield.
Initial application areas include sports, outdoor activities, defense, industries and other high-
performance sectors.
The strategic collaboration is set for an initial period of three years, with plans for continuation based
on mutual interest and success.
